Calling All Matriarchs

The primordial energy of our world
The energy that causes our hearts to beat
That breathes into our lungs
Inspiring us, enlivening us
The energy that readies the womb 
And breasts for a new creation
And embues woman 
With the power and strength
To give birth and nurture
Both daughters and sons
Is that of Mother

Misogyny has removed herstory
From history 
And turns her into
A witch, a whore 
Or powerless maidens
In fairytales

But if you really open your heart
You'll sense her everywhere
In the Matriarch elephant
In the Queen Bee
In the She-Bear and Lioness
Protecting their young
In every tree and blade of grass
And on birds and flowers and weeds
In the rivers and oceans
Teaming with life--with Her
She is our Earth
Bursting with aliveness

Her only enemy is man's 
Anti-life energy
Killing, polluting, destroying
Befouling her airways 
And waterways 
What his little pea-brain
Can't understand
He is killing his Mother
FROM INSIDE OF THE WOMB

And She will abort...
