The fear of diversity
Has them walking lockstep
It is a built in survival instinct
To stay within ones own tribe
But the United States
Is the land of diversity
It has evolved and outgrown
The old psychological programing
One religion, one language
One skin color, one ideology
Has morphed into
A cultural smorgasbord
It mirrors the energy of the land
Many indigenous tribes
Many languages and customs
All right here–side by side
It is psychologically healthy
It is genetically healthy
It is intellectually healthy
To have diversity
Our Constitution is what unites us
It recognizes our basic human equality
And protects individual rights
Across all ethnicities
Our Constitution is more humane
Than many humans
It wants to promote our general welfare
And secure the blessings of liberty
It is worth fighting for
To keep that uniting energy
Of “We the people…”
Instead of “Me the dictator”
“Vanilla only” can’t work here
There is an indigenous psychic force
That governs this land
Feel it rising, feel its power
Sink your roots in deep
Grab eachothers’ hands
Protect the Constitution
Who’s walking lockstep now?
Barblings 2025
