I dive deep into grief
Deeper and darker
I am writhing in pain
Sobbing and rocking
This is what grief wants
To gut--eviserate
To overwhelm with anguish
To flood with the fullness of love
And then annihilate that love
Nothing and everything
Agony and ecstasy
Opposites must collide
It's the final marriage
In the journey to wholeness
Love is also no love
Fertile is barren
Abundance is poverty
To limit one also limits the other
It takes great courage
To love to the point
Of self obliteration
When love dies, you die
Now
I see the endings in beginnings
I see life and the crucifixion
In everyone I meet
This fans the flames of love
Intensifying suffering
Life and death are united
I am burning with a Love
That can't be quenched
Grief doesn't lie
It testifies
Love cannot die
