It took awhile to realize
That grief is celebration
Tears like laughter
Are expressions of love
It is all the energy of God

I had to dive below duality
Below the false dichotomies 
Of better or worse
Of happy or sad
And find unity

Being happy isn’t
The end all, be all
It takes sunshine and rain
To create life
To be alive

I loved you, celebrated you
When you were here
And I love you 
And celebrate you
While you’re away

Here or gone
My love hasn’t changed
You caused my laughter
And you cause my tears
Love is all of this!!
