My house has many rooms It's a goddam mansion! My Facebook foyer Is for the casual company
You know pictures of pets And food and flowers And inspirational memes And pasted on smiles
But sometimes Barblings Wanders through And leaves a painting Or knitting needles She's messy that way
And sometimes Ramona's Daughter Will plop down on the sofa Triggered by the latest news And gives her impassioned opinion She is sensitive that way
Bohemian Swamp Witch Lives in the very back room Tangled in the cosmic web of life She stays away from the foyer And shallow conversation
And there are private rooms For the ancestors and the dearly departed And a nursery for So Awesome To gush out her childlike awe
We used to have a family room But we meet by group text now And Ramona's Daughter Has rented rooms on TikTok and Twitter Agreeing to keeping the FB foyer presentable
And me--well today I'll be hanging out With Barblings and Ramona's Daughter For a hit of rowdy, raucous, raunchy laughter And I'll have tea later with the Swamp Witch To gather more insights and visions
But here in Facebook foyer I'll post some cheery flowers (Yellow, to not harsh your mellow) And this little ditty While I'm off feeding my soul. Xoxo
