Billionaires and Tech Bros

Gotta feel sorry for the rich and heartless
Living in their abstract world
Of dollars and binary code
And quarks and black holes

Black and white
Bits and bytes
Pixilated, digitized
Cold. Computerized.

No diversity
Only order vs chaos
Superior vs inferior
Blind to the inclusiveness of love

Their brain is enclosed in its hard shell
Perched on a stalk
Lost in thought
Walled off from the messy, wild body

The real world is lost on them
They don’t know what they don’t know
Can’t fathom not being the sun
Around which all revolves

They can’t feel the loving world
The one that the heart has woven
Innate messages speak to us
Wisdom from the womb

And the solar plexus carries
Our integrity and fortitude
And the intuition of our gut
Points to true north

Instead, they build AI
And take trips to outer space
The mind is never content
It builds and destroys

And the wealth and power they seek
Makes them the slave master
And the slave
Mirroring their broken psyches

But Mother Nature will win
The infinite will trump the finite
Dead, they will learn that paradise
Was always right here.
