Big Diverse Earth
It only takes one man
To open the gates of Hell
One who finds followers
That hear the same bell
The rapists and racists
The pedos and thieves
The misogynists lip-synching
“In God we believe”
Creating a monarchy
With the wealthy in power
Is a myopic, false dream
From their gilded tower
They know nothing of love
That all men are brothers
Or the true meaning of
“Do unto to others”
Their one god is power
Their religion is money
They’re trying to convince us
That poison is honey
Their bravado is false
Their feet made of clay
Their wall will soon crumble
We pray for that day
We know they are driven
By fear, envy, and hate
Escaping their inner Hell
When he opened the gate
A blonde dominatrix
A killer of dogs
A drunk and some nazis
All greedy as hogs
God doesn’t judge
By one’s color of skin
And doesn’t see poverty
As a despicable sin
And who one chooses to love
Doesn’t matter a bit
But lack of empathy or kindness
And you’re back in Hell’s pit
Diversity is a gift
Bestowed prior to birth
We’re just a big, diverse family
On God’s big, diverse Earth.
