Than skin color or race
Further than gender
Further than religion
Further than culture
Further than politics
Further than art or science
Deeper than fear
Beyond words
Into silence

Today we enter our heart
Pulsing with its beat
And feel the Aliveness
The connection with
Our Source
Our oneness with
All life
And know
This Aliveness
Is sacrosanct
It is the Divine

Breathe
Know it is MotherGod
Breathing us
MotherGod’s breath
Enlivening us
–and all creatures
Since our first breath
She has been here
Aliveness is a gift
The Grace of Her

Some of us
Can hear Her wail
When Her gift of life
Is stolen
When the marriage
Of body and soul
Is severed intentionally
Hatefully
The same exact wail
When Mother and child
Are cruelly separated
And we are stirred
To comfort Her
Her wail is our compassion
Her wail is our rage

Some of us
Can feel Her joy
And know
Man’s laws are secondary
To the unwritten Divine law
Our birthright is Aliveness
Her breath is our breath
Our autonomy celebrates Her
She is true North
–on our moral compass
And we are wed to Her
In the most sacred of bonds

That no man shall put asunder.
