But--we may have had a breakthrough today.
About 2 weeks ago I bought Rhino and Chaser stuffed babies. And today, while trying to find something to perk Chaser up--I gave him the baby Rhino. He sniffed his butt, licked him and then RESTED HIS HEAD ON HIM. (Check out the collage of Chaser resting his head on Rhino!!!)
A couple of days ago, David gave Chaser his favotite treat--a bone--and Chaser was not very interested...but with Baby Rhino next to him--he attacked it with his usual enthusiasm!! Oh please God, let this be what helps Chaser heal and what fills this big gaping hole in our hearts and home. 💔💔💔
