A woman, by her very nature
Is wild, untamed
A balmy breeze and a tornado
I cringe, seeing her pray
To some invisible He-God
When she is both God and Temple
Or cloak herself in passivity
When a volcano is needed
Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed...are men speaking for men
In ¹the same way white people
Can't speak for people of color
A man's words can't teach women
Sisters, we must find our wild
And let the loamy earth fill our ears
So we hear only the trees and birds
You, with the wild womb
Are entrusted with the future
That is your superpower
So envision, then create a world
Where it is safe to push
Your babies out of the nest.
