Winter Solstice 2017

The days are getting shorter
Swallowed by the night
But Hope is born again
With the returning light

Now is the time 
To take the wisdom from the year
Lie it fallow in your womb
And dream peacefully without fear

Then sow your brave new dreams
When the frost is over
And tend to your life-garden
From Spring until October

Life is never ending
It cycles round and round
And when your body leaves you
Your spirit will be found.  bjb

(Reminds me of how the womb shortens with each contraction until new life is birthed.)
