Life at a standstill
Is not life
It is a stagnant swamp
Life is an energetic
Dance of opposites
A push-pull
Creation and destruction
Birth and death
Feminine and masculine
Peace will never reign
For peace can't be known
Without it's opposite
Like lukewarm water
On your wrist
Feels like nothing
Most of us
Don't want a lukewarm life
We want to feel alive
Like it or not
You will take sides
You have no choice
Complaceny is pablum
The food for monks and nuns
And the frail and children
For the rest of us
Know war is peace
Life is death--inseparable
Then go out
And fight like hell
For your image of heaven
